Kickers Volunteers

For the second year in a row, our Kickers players and families volunteered at TopSoccer Fest. TopSoccer is a community based soccer program for young atheletes with physical and mental disabilities that provides a safe and fun environment for them to participate in organized sports. The day was filled with soccer games and activites and a chance to see the new friends that we had made last year. See our picture in the latest issue of Cal South Magazine and in our gallery.

Player Spotlight

Alec Minkow

Alec is a new player to our club this season on our BU15 team. He is a strong center defender that is known to carry the ball and put it in the net on occasion. Alec's work ethic and the heart that he shows everytime he steps on the pitch, makes him a true asset to this team.

During the summer, Alec was selected to represent So. California in the Macabbi Games in Israel. He was the youngest player selected out of the more than 100 that tried out. In Isreal, they played against teams from all over the world and took the Bronze medal with a record of 8-1. Alec is pictured in his Kickers gear in front of the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, what an amazing experience. Congratulations Alec and thank you for representing our club in such a positive way.
