Kickers ROCK the Beach.....

What a beautiful weekend in El Segundo at the Copa Cobana Beach Tournament. Congratulations to our GU10 team who dominated their bracket with a record of 4-0. This was their first time on the sand and we are so proud of them. Our GU16 team has been a force on the beach for the past several years and take home yet another championship this weekend. As always, they gave it all they had and it paid off. Congratulations also go out to our BU12 who were one goal out of first place. They played amazing all weekend and took second giving the first place team their only loss. Our BU16 played up in the BU17/18 bracket and were phenominal. Charlie's goal off a bicycle from over half court had the crowd going crazy. Thanks also Coach Josh for taking them to second place in the tournament. We are proud of all of you for your hard work and dedication. Kickers Pride!

BU16 Strikers Cup Champions!

Congratulations to our BU16 team with their 18th tournament championship. Great job gentlemen, keep it up and you will have a great season this year!

GU12 Johnny Lopez Finalists!

Our GU12 team made it to the finals of the Johnny Lopez tournament playing in a U12/U13 bracket. With just 11 players all weekend and down to 9 in the finals, they showed us what true players they really are. We are very proud of you ladies, keep up the great work. 

Girls U16 Denver Cup Champions! 

Congratulations to our amazing GU16 team for their impressive results in the Denver Cup this past weekend. They endured a grueling 20 hour bus ride, the altitude, the heat and proved how strong they are. All the hours of training pay off in moments like these when they can rise above the competition but, it is also the heart these ladies showed by fighting to the very end. We are all extemely proud of you as evident in our rowdy side line courtesy of the boys (and the parents).  We gladly got on our "Happy Bus" and rode home as Champions! Great job ladies!

Our BU15 team traveled to Arizona this weekend to participate in the Stars & Stripes tournament in Phoenix and placed 2nd. They faced some of the top ranked teams in that state. We are so proud of you and thank you for representing our club so well.

Kickers Volunteers

For the second year in a row, our Kickers players and families volunteered at TopSoccer Fest. TopSoccer is a community based soccer program for young atheletes with physical and mental disabilities that provides a safe and fun environment for them to participate in organized sports. The day was filled with soccer games and activites and a chance to see the new friends that we had made last year. See our picture in the latest issue of Cal South Magazine and in our gallery.
